What does hybrid mean?

We pay for everything to publish your book, you do not.

You are not paying us to publish your book. 

You, the author, invest in your book with one of our marketing/PR packages to create a platform, brand, and a 'following' for you as an author. Your book is your business, so treat it like a start-up business, which involves marketing investment.

Do you have to purchase a marketing/PR package to get published with HP?

Yes. Just like any start-up company or brand, the bigger the push, the bigger the return. Even with traditionally published or self-published authors, budgeting for marketing expenses is needed. We take all of that on for you for the lifetime of your book with Historium Press. As long as you are an HP author, the marketing package you purchase will cover your book. In a nutshell, our name is attached to your book, so your success is our success.

Why does HP not take a percentage of the royalties?

This model has worked for us for five years now, and we believe that all authors should receive all monies due for the hard work and dedication they have put into their book. You are hiring HP as your marketing/PR team, and the fee pays for that only. All royalties go directly to the author via quarterly earnings to the author's bank account.

Why is Historium Press not a traditional publisher?

Historium Press is the hybrid branch of our company. --- We now introduce GlowWorm Press, our traditional publishing company. GlowWorm only accepts a limited number of books a year for traditional publishing. By submission to Historium Press, you have the opportunity to be discovered by GlowWorm Press.
